Most definitely Judy.
The recipes in the book are nice, so that helps too.

What a pity I don't live closer.
We had steak and onions cooked for a couple of hours and vegetables with it.

Ended up being a busy day for me yesterday so I made some pizza subs for DH using hollowed out light rye sourdough bread as the base. He enjoyed them so that's the main thing, I had a bowl of museli which is just what I felt like.
Tonight I'm trying a new recipe; Curried chicken salad from the Skinnytaste cook book.

Tonight we are having Quirky Jo's Curried Quinoa with boiled Eggs cut up in it, also has Peas in it. Very quick and tasty!
Jo says 2-4 tablespoons Curry powder, I find 1 1/2 is plenty, I make my own.

I made beef spare ribs in a s & s type sauce but got home late and its still on the stove so it was left overs for me and a quick steak and salad for DH. Spare ribs tomorrow night though.

I stirred through the sauce sautéed bacon, spring onions & toasted pine nuts.
