Thanks CC, looks like there will be lots of Forum members making Slow Cooked Persian Lamb. Looks absolutely delicious. I think the Spice shop in Carlton has the Rose Petals

CC, do you think I can do the Persian lamb without the rose petals?
Did Skinnymixers slow cooked lamb a few days ago Wonder and DH and DD really enjoyed it.

I am going to make some soup with gravy beef and rolls to go with it. I went out this morning to buy some good garlic from an organic shop near me and it was closed down so I thought I would go on to Karrinyup and buy one of those Torvola containers from Matchbox and when I got there that shop had also closed so I just came home and will use the little bit of garlic that I have left. Does anyone else in WA have trouble buying decent garlic grown in WA.

Troupie I bought garlic at the stirling farmers market on Sunday I was surprised at how cheap it was. It was at the stall that sell mainly citrus fruit.

No Rose petals, could try a little Rose water, but you probably need something for the texture as well. Perhaps a little celery or radish. Sounds strange but might work.
Just soup and garlic bread. Have been out for lunch at friends.
