I have been menu planning cookie for the last 6 weeks. Thought I would never get organised to do it but I'm finding it much easier and cheaper. I'm only buying what we need for the week. I deviate a little too but the basics stay the same. Tonight we had jamberie's beef risotto with basil and Parmesan.  Forgot how good it is.

Me and hubby used to make a menu plan for the week and even take turns cooking, but its been a while since we made one..
Thanks Cookie for mentioning it because I think it is time for me to start again, as I go home in the evening tired, open the fridge and keep wondering what to make.. Making a menu plan and buying things in advance makes it sooooo much more economical and easier!! :)

I menu plan too, have been doing so for years.  I find it especially useful these days as both DH and I eat differently and it's the way for me to keep organised.  :D

I've looked at that recipe several times Courton, it looks really tasty.  We had lamb shanks last night, probably sausages and mash tonight.

This is delicious. We had it on Tuesday night. I usually only do one large chicken breast and then slice it to serve.

I did two big chicken breasts thinking it was enough for 3 but we are all almost fighting for more! Next time I will do one chicken breast for each person even though it looks enormous!

Zucchine & Rice Pie.  I'm trying out a pastry using oat flour for the base.

Last night we had Tenina's Cheesy Nuggets. I didn't put the full amount of cream cheese in them and found they were a little dry. Good for dunking though!

I made a big pot of Chinese Flair which will give me 7 meals - it's a once a year must do recipe for me.

I roasted up all sorts of vegetables, cooked up some quinoa, mixed them together with a bit of balsamic and oil and served it with haloumi cheese on top. We've had it before and rather like it.
