Cookie, both hamburgers and chips sound interesting. What roll recipe did you use. .?

I used your No Fuss recipe Chookie. I used 100g rye flour in it and added Pepitas and sunflower seeds about 50 seconds before the kneading finished. I made 200g rolls ( which was a bit too large). As they did their final rise I put some Glad Bake over them and a tray to keep them fairly flat.
I love this recipe as I alter it all sorts of ways.

Thanks Cookie. Yes it a useful recipe. I add more water when I use wholemeal flour and when I make rolls put a tray on top when in the oven for the first 5 to 10 minutes. We like a flatter roll.
I will try your idea of putting the tray on before baking.

I had a batch of these ( http://www.recipetineats.com/spinach-and-ricotta-rolls/ ) in the freezer so I had some for tea tonight with a salad.  Nice dipped in tomato sauce.

That reminds me Judy. I need  to make some more tomato sauce. My recipe has no onion, which is good as I have developed this intolerance to onion.
Lately I have been mixing plum sauce with sweet chilli sauce. Nice combination. Good with corn fritters and sour cream.

We had Creamy Lemon Butter Chicken last night. The chicken was cooked perfectly but I found the sauce very salty.DH enjoyed it  ;D

Tonight I made Steamed Salmon Skewers with Coconut Basil and Lemon Sauce. Delicious, both DH and I loved it. I have four skewers leftover, so will have these with a salad tomorrow.

Judy, a little onion isn't too bad. Raw onion or a pile of onions cooked or onion jam not good. Can have the green part of spring onions so often add this at the end when cooking.
CC, thanks for the recipe for the salmon. Looks good. Will try as we always have salmon in freezer. Sounds like dinner tonight.

Ended up baking a 1/2 leg of lamb. Will have to save the Salmon for another night.
I picked a Celeric bulb. It is a challenge how to prepare the different things I grow. Today I struck gold. I steamed 1/2 the celeric in the TMC basket. When cooked I added equal amount of white tinned beans, , lemon juice and some prepared horse radish cream. Mashed it all in TMX . Very nice. So now I have 2 dishes that I can cook with Celeric. The other is Rosti.

I gave the fridge a good clean out yesterday and found some sad veggies, so tonight it will be Vegetable Soup and home made bread rolls.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I gathered things from the freezer, pantry and fridge to make my tea tonight (and tomorrow night too!).
Cooked chicken pieces & home made cream of mushroom soup from the freezer made a lovely pasta dish with a few added veggies.  After cleaning out the pantry and freezers I will attempt to use up my bits and pieces to create meals.  Why do I have so many packets of pasta and rice I wonder, cheap enough to just throw into the shopping trolley far too often I suspect.

Judy, same here, lots of rice and pasta.
Lamb and salad flat bread rolls for lunch and nachos for dinner. After a day in the garden didn't feel like going to too much bother.

We had corned beef tonight. DH and I will use the leftovers for sandwiches for the next few days.
