Codfish with citrus butter sauce from My Way of Cooking. I make the sauce first, thicken it slightly and reheat it once the fish and veg are cooked. I cooked extra potatoes and some eggs then made a potato salad for tomorrow night’s tea as well.

Clever thinking Judy. We had sausage things from the Thermofun site, they were very nice. A few chips in the AF and a salad of chickpeas, baby tomatoes, cherry bocconcini, spinach and a few basil leaves cut up. It had a creamy style dressing on it. Very nice. It was from the WW Salads cookbook that was released years ago. I keep borrowing it from the library.

Well I hoped on to cookidoo and voila Thai beef salad from the Everyday cookbook . It was really delicious , meat marinated and then steamed . I had to adjust the cooking time as it was not cooked . DH was impressed said beef was melt in the mouth ! We added home grown beans on the side . Rather fun searching for the beans . Italian rocket and Savoy cabbage . Nice change to steak and veg . Trying to do less carbs and lighter meals for DH as he needs to loose some kilos .

I had some chicken soup out for tea but decided to puree it in the hope DH will eat it.
Now to check my freezer inventory to see what I’ll have for tea.

No good Chookie, nothing has passed through his lips today - not even a word or two. He is holding his coffee mug though, at 2.30 staff will replace it with a hot one from the tea trolley.  That mug is like a comfort blanket to him. He is watching the History channel on Foxtel at the moment, his favourite thing which happens when everyone else goes to a concert or other activity.

Nice try Judy.   Maybe they could slip something into the coffee cup.
