Butter chicken/rice and I just bought myself a delicious looking custardy creamy slice at a new bakery at my local shopping centre.  It was so big I have cut it in half to stretch it over 2 days. I always look but rarely buy sweet things from bakeries but I went in there with the intention of buying something today.

Good on you Judy.
We had RTE Fish Gratin tonight. I forgot it makes so much so there will be leftovers for lunches over the weekend.

CC and Cookie, both meals sound nice. Will check them out.
Went off the diet while doing the Bread demos.  How can you tell if the buns are good unless you eat some. ? Starting again today. Looks like lots of soups instead of salads.

I needed to use up the packet of bacon in the fridge so we had that with egg, mushrooms,
tomatoes and baked beans. DH had a slice of bread with his meal.

Cookie and Margaret - I love both those type of meals when I haven’t thawed anything for tea.

Hey, you are all cooking things I love at the moment - all are I can’t be bothered type meals LOL.
Tonight I had a cottage pie which I started thawing out 3 days ago but the last 2 nights I didn’t feel like that meal.

Lasagna and vegetables. Followed by DDs churros coated with cinnamon sugar and chocolate cream sauce ! Have to say I was tiered and went to bed and DD produced these , so sweet the whole family enjoyed them . A new thing not breakfast in bed , dessert and family . So close to sleep .

Judy, I know how you feel.  I often defrost something and then don’t feel like eating it. I have started not defrosting , but using the microwave at the last minute.   This is working out better.
