Sausage with first of DM home grown purple runner beans , fennel cucumber and orange salad , Zucchini and sweet potato. It seems I am cooking these holidays at DMs all the time . DM use to demand to cook all the meals , so now I discuss with her what we are going to have and just do it then there are less dishes ( thermi helps out steaming the vegetables most nights ) . Although last night DM was in charge and made pasta with fresh tomato's and herbs for 7 , I was out for drinks. DS ate two bowls last night and two today ! Best he had had .

Hope the cool change comes through by dinner time as we are having Chicken Stir fry.  I will prep all the veggies during the day.

Cookie, DD gave the fish to an elderly couple.  It was caught in a river in northern Victoria. She usually releases the fish she captures.  She is an excellent fisher person.  The club she belongs to wanted to enter her in the Fly Fishing World Championships.  She declined as she has 2 children to look after. Shame as it would have put  Australian fly fishing  women on the world map.
I wish it was from our dam.

Your DD sounds a wonderful fisher woman. That's brilliant. I have never tried fly fishing, I don't think I would be very good at it. I'm better at dangling bait over the side of a boat.
Maybe she can compete later on, she will be even better then. 😄😄😄

Chookie amazing for DD to be such an accomplished fly fishing person.
DS made pizza dough for dinner tonight , we all made our own topping! Thin crispy crusts . Used the pizza maker oven . DS was too thin and by the time I got it in it had holes , but all tasty . Great way to end a very very hot day .

We're having a main meal salad tonight. The protein is salmon. It has beetroot, cannelloni beans and the salmon on the top, with the usual salad bits.

Cookies Bacon and Cheese Impossible Pie.  I added some grated carrot, finely sliced silverbeet and some grated cauliflower.  It was very nice.

Leftovers from last night.  This dish was really nice and I found DS out in the kitchen helping him self to seconds.

Steak and veg casserole from freezer, spinach and Zuchinni from garden.  Jelly peaches.
