Hamburgers with rice and veg . DD request . Also the warm maple walnut banana loaf for dessert . It was pecan and totally recommended it off Cookidoo. It has a lovely crunchy topping too.

A take away from the guys next door - feeling we want to give them support following their break in this morning - and it saves me thinking about what to take out of the freezer and washing dishes after ... lazy me!

What a great way to support local business after their misfortune.

I made a pasta dish for DH and this Michelle B meal for me: miso salmon with cauli fried rice.  It was so tasty.  DH had a bite and asked if he could have a serve next time I make it.  :D

Marina what a great support you are having takeaway from the shop .
Crumbed chicken tenderloins , roast veg . Made far too much , might be having them tomorrow night too . Although DS may well snack on then too. Apple crumble for DD .

Didn’t cook chicken stir fry so will have it tonight. Reheated RTE curried fried rice.  I make it with lots of added veggies and it is very nice and reheats well.

I’ll have a serve of that next time too please Julie!
I’ve found the recipe online so will do it for sure.  Where did you buy the miso paste please Julie and in which department?

Hee Judy.  It was really nice.  The garlic and ginger flavour through the cauli was lovely and the honey and miso top just added the right amount of sweetness.

I cooked the salmon in my airfryer, I think on 180C until it was how I like it.  The cauli I turbo pulsed for 1 sec but maybe could have done 1/2 second as it was very fine (being only a small amount).  Anyway really nice.

The miso paste I used was this one.  Available at both Coles and Woolies, in the Asian aisle.  About $4 I think.  ;D

Thank you Julie, at this time I don’t like having to spend too much time wandering the aisles looking for special ingredients.

Judy, the miso is worth having.  Can add it to soups and it is good for you. Can freeze it.
