Tried a new chicken recipe.  Chicken breast with a dried tomato coconut sauce.  I picked a massive Chinese veggie from the garden. Stir fried with Ponzu sauce. Italy meets China!!

I tried this meal tonight but no, not ready for these type of veggies yet.  Back to my soups.

Judy. Could you use them for a roast vegetable soup?

I ate most of it cookie but had to wash each mouthful down with water.  Not the most pleasant way to eat, you cannot enjoy a meal having to do that.

I’m getting used to it Chookie and don’t expect things to change for some time yet. I keep trying though.

Steak baked potato, used the bottom leaves chopped of the cauliflower and sautéed them ! Interesting is what they all said . We had home grown carrots, these carrots just keep coming up in the vegetable garden .

Last night I made a very simple tray bake. Easy and tasty. Chicken thighs trimmed and cut into 4.  Mixed with, ginger, garlic and lemongrass paste, and 1 teaspoon of Turmeric . Roasted then chopped Bol Choi and small tin of light coconut milk stirred through.  Back in oven for 15 minutes. Served with brown rice. Nigel Slater recipe.
Tonight flathead fillets, baked. Fried rice
