Japanese milk bread sounds interesting… please point me in the right direction please Chookie.
I had smoked basa with carrots, green beans and broccoli. Delicious. Finished with hot chocolate from my chocolate peppermint fudge making, OMG it was so good.
Today will be home made baked beans, they’re delicious and full of veg. I’ll see if I can link the recipe later.

Thanks Judy.
DJ, the Japanese Milk Bread was developed in Japan after the 2 nd WW. The American Soldiers wanted bread like they could buy in the Supermarket back in America. It’s a very soft bread with a fine crumb. It is particularly good for a chicken and Mayo sandwich, egg and lettuce or Asparagus rolls. The best approximate bread here in Australia is Bakers Delight hi fibre. However this is loaded with preservatives. Try it. You can even make it in a bread machine.

Some of DD's friends love it if I make them some of the Japanese Milk bread.

I tidied my freezers today and in the process found 19 mini bags of Nagi’s zucchini pasta so left one out for my tea. It tasted better than when I first made it so that’s a bonus. I also had a 25cm piece of corn on the cob, funnily enough I can eat that and I really enjoy it.

Judy, that is great that you can eat corn on the cob. I also love it, especially when it is very fresh.
Very little for dinner after roast lunch.
