Roast beef and roast vegies.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I still have a little while to go before I can stop buying Easter Eggs with Youngest DS only being 5, and it means I still need to buy for all 5 kids to keep the story going.

(oops sorry to all those forum members who still believe in the Easter Bunny)

Made a recipe from Jamie's Great Britain: Guinness Lamb Shanks with potato & (supposedly celeriac but couldn't get one, so used a turnip) mash and steamed carrots and green beans.

Made the mash and steamed veg in the TM and my PC for the rest.  Supposed to take 3 hours cooking in the oven; took 30 mins in the PC, the meat was falling off the bones.

Was delicious and I was so surprised to find that the potato & turnip mash tasted so good!  :o

I served on a platter so we could help ourselves. :D

That looks great JulieO! Not sure that it would be easy to clean off the motherboard though if I tried to make it in my PC.

It so does Julie.....we have many lamb shanks when sheep are "attended" to here....but hubby still believes them to be dog food, and our 4 legged friends enjoy them instead  :o. I tell him he's nuts, and point them out in restaurant menus....but you can't teach an old dog new tricks  :-)) LOL!

Thankyou, it was really nice and enough shanks and gravy left over (which I've frozen) for another night.  ;D
