Chicken Breast with Lemon Sauce and vegetables for dinner at my place tonight. Nothing too big for a work night. I was going to take some casserole out of the freezer, but since I've had my thermomix I've been eating everything freshly cooked and the last meal I had out of the freezer Non-TMX Sweet & Sour Chicken) didn't taste as good as it normally does. The meal itself was OK, but the capsicum wasn't that great so it's kind of put me off a little bit. I haven't done my shopping yet, meal planning this week has been a little difficult with my dad staying and my assignment being due last night. I might just take it as it comes this week, try and use what's in the pantry and freezer and buy the little bits I need as I need them.

Thanks Hally, I might look up MJ's normandy chicken. I don't think I've read the recipe ;)

Now I feel like I should be having pork though :-)) But we don't have any, so I will have chicken like Amanda :D

We're having quiche. Not sure what I'll put in it though. Might just do the traditional quiche lorraine tonight. Home version made with milk and no cream and low fat cheese. May toss in some spinach too. I'll serve it with whatever vegies are left in the fridge. If they look too tired I might turn them into a vegie fried rice.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Yum Cookie. That's what I love about quiche, it can be low fat and use up whatever you have.
There is a tin of asparagus in the pantry (the never ending story) which has quiche written all over it.

Tonight JulieO sticky pork ribs.  Have created a new pud.  Pears cooked in Varoma in a caramel sauce and then finished off in the oven with a chocolate crumble. If OK will post.  Drover Jess wanted a soup recipe similar to one she had when out.  Made it for lunch and posted it under soups. It has Tomatoes, celery and apples in it .
hally look after your self. ;D
Kangaroo....I use it in Bol sauce but find it strong in taste.  To compensate I add a little Golden Syrup and a touch of cinnamon. The fussy BBBBBB's that I feed don't know.

That's interesting Chookie. I have only had kangaroo as an entree in very thin fillets and didn't enjoy it at all.
Way too strong in flavour.
