Thanks for the review of that recipe Ted. I bought that book on the weekend as I'd ordered a pressure cooker on Thursday expecting it some time this week. It arrived this morning
I have put that recipe on my list of ones to make, so thanks for the heads up.

Corned Beef and steamed vegetables with mustard sauce - it was yum, so easy to make the sauce in thermie.

Haloumi patties with mushrooms, carrots and pasta (dd3 really wanted pasta)
The patties were adapted from this months masterchef magazine and so so simple and easy to make in the tmx.

Wow Zan they look lovely - dont suppose you might be able to post the recipe??? We travelled Australia last year in a van as a family and I discovered a cherry tomato and haloumi pasta in one of the caravan parks that we loved and cooked all the time.
Since then I have been on the look out for any haloumi recipes.
We are having left over stroganoff from last night with rice and steamed veges (my first go doing them together in the tmx).

I've put the recipe on my blog
http://thermomixmeals.blogspot.com/2011/05/monday-23rd-may-apple-and-cinnamon.html
- sorry I'm a bit pressed for time at the moment so recipes are a bit sketchy but copied quantities from the original recipe.
Tonight we had Chicken Tempra from the Babi Tempra recipe in the Asian cookbook.
A winner.

Haven't posted on this thread before, but feel like I have cooked a 3 course meal today (without any effort) so here we go
Family Chowder Soup with TM bread - both from forum
Spaghetti Bologanise from EDC with a few additions
Rice Pudding from EDC
You can tell it is getting colder n Perth, not sure if we will manage all 3 courses, but DS had a bowl of rice pudding for afternoon tea!
So 3 courses all in the TM - gotta love my machine

This
was our tea tonight - Katya's Chicken with coriander and mango. It was an all-in-one-meal although I browned the cubed potato in a pan at the end so I have asked Caroline to move it over to our new section.

My very first post - here goes! Just bought a few recipe books so tried out the Chicken with Prunes from the Meat on the Menu book.Used chicken thighs. Decided to try and make it even more Moroccan .Modified the recipe by adding 8 dried apricots, a cinnamon quill, 1star anise, a pinch of turmeric, a shake of ground cardamom, and a shake of ground cumin. ( just guessed amounts and hoped for the best!) Turned out really yummy, served with cous cous .

We had roast chicken & vegies cooked in the weber today with steamed carrots, beans & cabbage done in the TMX along with the gravy. Whilst the gravy was cooking I quickly stir fried the steamed cabbage in some butter on the stove to give it a flavour boost. Will post the gravy recipe, it really made this meal.

We're having spaghetti bolognaise tonight. someone told me I could put the spaghetti in with the meat after a bit ofcooking as long as I had enough liquid. I'mn going to try that as I don't have the thermoserver with me.
