What's for Dinner Tonight?

Tonight was Char Siu chicken with an Asian style salad

Nice!  I didn't feel like cooking tonight, too tired, so I just quickly made some pizza dough, pulled off chunks and made quick little calzones with flavoured tuna (from tins).  25 mins, then in the oven

Thermo meatloaf stuffed with spinach, boiled eggs, sundried tomatoes and a little mozzarella.  Add some mashed potato and steamed broccoli with mushroom sauce too easy...my boys will be very happy

We filled up on hummus today, so it's going to be poached eggs on toast

We've been out for the last 2 nights and had lovely food, so tonight will be ricotta gnocchi with a simple sauce.

Tonight was Lasagna (all the bits of course made in the TMX)

We had lasagne too, all made in tmx (except the baking of course!) with homemade buckwheat lasagne noodles.  yum!

Butterflied lamb that was marinated in red wine/olive oil/garlic and rosemary.
The veggies were roasted in olive oil/lemon zest and garlic.

last night i made lasagne too and DS18 happened to say - if i could comment it would probably be "too cheesy". needless to say i shot him down in flames because it was 10/10 and I had worked all day and everyone was starving, he was lucky to get a home cooked meal and didn't ask for his stupid comment!

Bet that silenced him  Might have to cook for himself and not have mum's yummy food placed in front of him. (I'm happy to take his place at your table CP63- your food is fantastic)

Looks yum Judy.  We had shepherds pie tonight too.  I used up the left over lamb from yesterday's roast dinner.

It's a great way to use up leftovers but it's been years since I made it.  When I was a kid, it was always a roast on Sunday and shepherd's pie on Monday nights.
