We rushed out to a talk on Solar power on the roof last night

i suppose if you are going to talk about that sort of thing thats the best place to do it

oops forgot what I came on here for....

We had Cajun chicken breast with mango salsa, baked potato and salad.

I really should do more for presentation in my photos, lol, but like tonights they are usually on the kids plates and often after the meal has started. (and using my phone as too time poor to grab the camera, lol.

Tonight we had salmon, rice and veg - AIO using the Varoma.

As discussed on the blog I did a sauce similar to the Huelva one but it didnt have enough flavour for me, but was still nice and gave the rice a lovely flavour.
The salmon I also wrapped as I don't like it so didn't want it to drip on the rice (the kids love salmon). All was cooked perfectly and a winner of a meal.

I wish I was having what Matt Stone cooked up on Iron Chef tonight - anyone see that?  Especially the dessert - unbelievable!  And he used the Thermomix for part of it, and they even said 'Thermomix'!!  Yay!!

Yes, I saw Iron Chef too! Wow, the TMX has now been on TV two nights in a row - people must surely be getting interested in them now

Yummy slow-cooked lamb chops & veges (carrots, mushrooms, celery, garlic, onion)  in a spicy sweet n sour sauce, over garlicky mashed potatoes made in tmx.

Tonight was night 2 with my pork leftovers (1 more meal to go after this one) so I browsed a cookbook I have called Recipes for Leftovers by Jean Pare, a Canadian lady.  Tonight I decided to convert her recipe and make the Coconut Pork and Peaches.
