I love baked beans Judy. Now I have found Jo's recipe they will be on the menu more frequently. I love the tinned ones too.

It's 7.20pm and I had another one of those "OMG what are we going to have for dinner" moments....added with an "I can't be bothered" combined with "let's have take-away" feelings.

Then I remembered I have some chilli that needs using...so I made a Matriciana. I was just about to pull out the old style pots and pans when I thought about making it in the TMX...Chopped a clove of garlic, an onion and about 200g bacon, then added 20g oil and cooked on Varoma temp for 5 minutes...while it was cooking I came on the forum to see if anyone had already posted a recipe.. and of course they had!

What a super quick dinner!

Thanks for the link jamberrie. Hadn't seen that recipe yet. Sounds delicious.

Tonight DH had cabbage rolls that my mum made for him, I had leftover lasagne and the boys hotdogs with mac and cheese. All different, but everyone happy :)

I love those "pick and mix" dinners Kimmy ;D

Jam, good job with your dinner, much better than take away :D

I left a lamb shank casserole in the slow cooker for mum and SD, and I just had a quick bowl of soup from the freezer before I went to work :)

Girls night out last night  in a little Italian place we haunt.....As tempting as their risottos sounded...I think I'm just about rissotto'd  out at the moment!
Had chicken medallions crumbed in bocconcini, feta & sundried tomatoes, zucchini salad & hollandaise....completely yummy.
Tonight will just be DD & I....so our options are endless...just need to decide  :-\
.........EAT CAKE!
