Tonight I made the BEST roast I have ever made!!! Cooked "Herb and Mustard Lamb" from the WW pressure cook book,
my awesome cheese sauce
over cauliflower, beans, roast potatoes, carrots and pumpkin, with
Best Ever Gravy
. Didn't like the look or runny consistency of the gravy, and seeing as there was lots of pan juices I made up a cornflour paste and tipped what I thought of the gravy into the pan juice and bubbled and brewed. Wow! for someone who has NEVER been able to make gravy, I really feel so happy cos i have never tasted a roast like it
and it was so worth the effort (sorry, this is not a humble moment

JulieO the chicken looks very very tasty, might have to give that a go, maybe some nuggets for DS.
CP well done on the roast, roasts are one of my fortees, but baking is another story.

Robyn I'm like you. I absoilutely love baking.
Tonight we're having a large curry from the calendar a few years back and then we can have some leftovers in the next nights bush camp.
We will be in NOrseman and have power the next night so I'll make another casserole (the gourmet one ) and then that will do for the next night we won't have power. We have our generator with us but it is always so beautiful and quiet I won't let DH run it. We have one that will run the TMX with no problems. I'm getting very excited.

I've never done it Hally, I use the microwave. Some people use the varoma to reheat things by steam - you need a casserole dish that will fit into the varoma dish though.
Dopmes lamb organ jos - is that iPad language for Rogan Josh
Enjoy your meal, it sounds great.

Looks like the microwave then while rice cooking. Yes rogan Josh. My iPad turns it in to organ!!!!
If I can get a photo before DH digs in I will send it on to you to post, but it all smells good.
I must admit I am tired.. And not 100% doesn't help, hope all the spices to the trick.

I still don't understand why iPad plays with words you type in Hally - that would infuriate me to have a machine telling me what I should be saying
Hope you start to feel better soon - you have done well to prepare so much today whilst being under the weather (not through alcohol though

I know it drives me mad organ Josh, gosh that would be gross. Maybe I can change a setting, another question for the apple store.
