That's disappointing Yvette but I have to be honest and say that I am not a fan of sous vide cooking. Have tried it with my GD and she doesn't like it either. Maybe better luck next time and everyone is different

That's great MF. Do you think it was the machine or the method that was the problem?

Not sure Wonder as I said did everything we were supposed to do and I watched several videos etc so for $685.00 it is not worth the money and I am not going to play around with it. No more sous vide cooking for me. I can tick that off my things to buy.
DH and I went through everything several times and couldn't find anything we did wrong.

Glad you can get your money back Yvette. I think I will just stick to chicken sous vide in the TMX as it turned out really well.
Actually will probably marinate some chicken breast and do that for dinner tonight.

Also when it is full there is no way you could empty it my DH did it but was not easy as very heavy.

Made Mamak Mee Goreng yesterday. That's a popular fried noodles sold by Indian hawkers in my hometown, Penang - the food capital of Malaysia
It's a delicious noodles with lots of depth in flavour. The sauce, chilli paste, tomato sauce, potatoes and eggs give it a unique character.
Chilli paste made in the TMX. Everything else done in the wok.
I've attached a photo but not sure if it will post correctly.
