well I hope tomorrow your back to 100% :-*

Thanks Suzanne :D :-*

Kids were both out so DH and I went to our local Indian. I asked them lots of questions about their naan bread and about a couple of the dishes we had to help us out with our home tandoor. They were thrilled to talk to me and even took me into the kitchen to the chef and owner and got me to feel the texture of the dough and get a few more tips off them. They are a lovely group of people and I'm sure their tips will help us a lot.

Wonder, that's awesome, I wish more restaurants were that friendly :)

Wonder - that is lovely!  This just shows the generosity of spirit that should go hand in hand with the sharing of food . . be it with guests in the home, or with customers in a restaurant . . same principle applies methinks!! :D

Yummo Judy! I think that one might just be my next cookbook....

I converted my Dad's WW Pumpkin Soup recipe for tonight and am having a version of a no fuss loaf to accompany :)

I was seduced by fresh chestnuts at the growers market last week, and was given a recipe for mushroom and chestnut soup. However, I didn't count on it taking me more than an hour to peel the $&@&$$ chestnuts. We had chicken skewers for dinner instead, so that we could eat at a reasonable hour.  In the meantime, I have cooked the soup. I ve tasted it, but I'm not impressed. I don't think the kids will eat it.
I should have made the chestnut chocolate brownies Instead.
I still have a kilo of chestnuts in my fridge >:(
I will gladly give them away.........
