LOL Katie but that is so sweet  :D

Have to say my DH often surprises me with flowers and gifts throughout the year too which is really nice.

We are all lucky to love and be loved in return even although we all show it in different ways.

Good luck with the pies Amy

Amy, he does have other redeeming features, just can't think of,them at the minute. Lol

Your brainwave dinner sounds nice, let us know how it goes.

I've just finished my dinner.  Gotta day, couscous, wow, what have I been missing out on.  And the parsnip and fennel puree, wow.  Thanks masterchef for that idea.  The fennel in the green grocer looked dried out so I crushed some fennel seeds instead  It was amazing and the couscous I cooked in chicken stock and it sat under the salmon and absorbed the orange sauce.  It was so good...  Amazing

The dessert was ok.  It's the only picture I got to take of a spare one.  It oozed chocolate like its supposed to but I'm over using bitter chocolate, next time, I'll tone it down with some milk chocolate

Your DH is so funny Katie but so loveable - bet you were killing yourself laughing inside when he went off to check the calendar.  You are always right so I don't know why he bothered to go and check - he will learn that one day.  Have a great pizza making night, he he he.

Happy St Valentines day everyone and hoping you all enjoy your dinners.

We had Lasagne with salad tonight. Used MJ's passata and everyone was impressed with the flavour :)

We don't celebrate Valentines Day in our house. My DH totally disagrees with it. He said you shouldn't need a special day to remind you to tell someone you love them and I have to agree. Everyday is Valentines Day he says. To me if you love someone, you tell them every chance you get, and show them how much you care by doing the little things that made you fall in love with them in the first place.
Exercise is a dirty word... Every time I hear it, I wash my mouth out with chocolate

Sticky toffee pudding MJ's delicious and highly recommended pudding. DS had two and doesn't know they have dates in them.  ;)

Rest in freezer.

Also made normal flapjacks.

Dizzy agree with that.  There is too much commercialism  now for Mothers day / fathers day / christmas and such.

I  still got roses though :)

Dinner was wonderful salmon rissoles and veges.  yummy.

Well there you go "inspirationed" is the new term  ;D

No Amy - I'm nothing like the Cupcake Queen on MKR. And don't get me started on the WA girls, they are embarrassing.  I only hope that they are acting ...

Made a spiced pastry apple pie last night. It was yum. Sorry no photos, I was too slow!

I'm glad to hear you're not like the cupcake queen Nikki ;D And I agree about the WA girls, they're certainly not doing our state proud :( I wonder how much of their attitude is acting?
