No idea about dinner, DH taking me out for my b'day - I always thought people my age were ancient, I can now say that I definitely am not ancient!!!

Happy birthday Marina, it’s nice to be spoilt and have a night off cooking. I find that we tend to reset the goalposts to what we think is old or ancient as we reach certain milestones ourselves.

Happy Birthday Marina, enjoy your evening out. Remember age is just a number, it's how we feel within ourselves that counts.
We are having silverside tonight with potato bake, carrots & cabbage.

I hope you had a wonderful birthday Marina. I was always amazed that people of 74 shouldn’t have been around anymore. Believe me I have now changed my mind.
Dinner tonight is a chicken stir fry.

Happy Birthday Marina. Hope dinner was great.
Dinner tonight, pastie from freezer.
I’m probably the oldest of our small group on the Forum and I don’t feel old at all. I can’t do quite as much physically as I could do 5 years ago but can do what matters, cooking.

We had a thick, puréed veggie soup with Tenina’s Buttermilk rolls.

This is handy to know. If you don’t have Buttermilk, mix half plane or Greek yogurt with half milk as a substitute.
Cookie, those rolls look good.
Arrived home exhausted after an early start and a full day in Melbourne. My lovely Sri Lankan neighbors sent in my Dinner.

Treat for dinner fresh sardines, soba noodle salad and greens , followed by another indulgent mandarin lune croissant! Sardines are very rich , Wilson’s in Ballarat had them super nice and so easy pan cooked with fresh coriander and a touch of verjuice.
