Kids birthday party
« on: October 09, 2010, 03:08:32 am »
My daughter is having her 10th birthday party next weekend and it is a cooking party. I would like to take full advantage of having a TMX, so want to prepare/make as much as I can for the girls in it. So far I thought they could to make pizzas, ice cupcakes, roll out biscuits and make slushies of some description.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

The savoury chicken balls in the everyday cookbook are really yummy, especially when served with some potato wedges, (Cyndi O'meara has a great recipe for the coating of the wedges) sour cream and sweet chilli sauce or just tomato sauce.  They are pretty quick and easy, especially if you have pre preparded a few bits (bread crumbs, chopped herbs, mince chicken meat etc).

What a lovely idea for a party, I'm sure the girls will love it.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
