« on: October 12, 2010, 02:42:22 pm »
Hello! I am in the worst waiting period ;) - between ordering and receiving! So in the meantime I'm perusing the forums and getting my head around just how much I can do!

Great idea - I hit my local bulk supplier for spices yesterday and now to try and decide what to make first. A risotto? Chai? Scones? So many options!!

Hi Ostara, welcome to the forum.  Choosing your first dish is hard but to make some of the recipes you need to have the vegetable stock concentrate on hand so that is one of the first things you will need to make.  Then get into the good stuff!

Welcome to the forum Ostara, you will find this resource invaluable.  I am sure that you will very quickly have a list of 'must makes' before your TMX arrives.  :)

I got mine a week ago and have gone mad cooking! The week waiting for delivery was hard, but I spent it learning about what it does and hit the ground running. Enjoy.

Hey there excited one!
It feels like an eternity but once you get it there's no stopping you.
Make up a menu plan for the first week and ensure you have all the ingredients on hand.
I kept having to send my poor hubby up to the shop for odd ingredients that I hadn't planned for.  He didn't complain once! He knows which side his bread's buttered on. (Both sides with thermo made butter!!!  ;D)
Enjoy when it arrives.
We look forward to seeing more posts on here from you.

trudy that'd be lovely :) but I have to get it first!

I actually already have the stock concentrate thanks to my dear friend/tmx dealer! I think a risotto is on the cards. Spinach from the garden and herbs and lemon perhaps.
