Hello from Central Victoria

Hello, I have just recently been to a Thermomix demonstration in Bendigo which also had Cyndi Omeara giving a presentation and I came away amazed and unable to get the Thermomix out of my mind. Even though I haven't ordered one yet I AM going to buy one asap. I have joined this forum to get some more ideas on how I can make the best use out of it as there are only 2 of us here for me to cook for. Anyway.. that's me for now.

Great to hear you had a positive experience at the demo Mary. Welcome to the forum - spend some time on here and you will find many great recipes and ideas. It won't take you long before you discover how much we all love our TMX's and could not live without them now. There are a lot of us here only cooking for 2 so you can either halve the main meals or freeze the leftovers for quick meals when you are too busy to cook. Hope you can order one soon, you won't regret it.

Mary I am sure you will love the Thermomix if you purchase one. You will find yourself cooking things you may not have cooked before. Lots of us are now making our own bread and rolls, icecream and heaps of other things. I hardly ever made risotto before as it was such a nuisance, now we often have one. As Judy said many of us only cook for 2 and the freezer eats well, but it is so handy when you can't be bothered to get something healthy out instead of takeaway.

Welcome to the Forum Mary. There are a few of us spread around central Victoria. Bendigo is a fine city, in fact we are going there tomorrow to have the car attended to. You have many good kitchen shops and you are right in the center of a food producing area. I hope you enjoy your TMX as much as we all do. Any questions, just ask.

Hi Mary, So glad you are getting your TM soon. I didn't realize when I first read this post that its been a whole year since you first saw the TM and wanted one. What a long wait, obviously it hasn't left your mind. I only waited about a month to get mine which seemed like forever at the time.
