Hi everyone, I have just got a thermomix. My sister lives in Germany and has one and my Mum visited her and bought me one!!!! I now realise how lucky I am
I had never even heard of it before and to be honest was scared to use it.
I went to a demo a few nights ago and am no longer scared. I have made bread, broccoli salad, pumpkin soup and the tomato noodle soup and am going to make strawberry sorbet later. I am going to another demo next week and cant wait.
I am so impressed and have even surprised myself with what I have already made. I am really looking forward to trying some more of the yummy recipes on here.

Lucky you Mell ! Hi and welcome to the forum. Mum probably doesn't realise it yet but she will have changed your life for the better with this amazing machine in your kitchen. So glad you found this forum early on, you will learn so much here - our recipes are pretty darn good too

My sister is a fab cook and my Mum saw her use her Bimby everyday and thought it would be great for me as I hardly ever cook. I am already converted and have just made the Bimby Chocolate Cake. I have been on annual leave so have had time to play with my new toy

Well today I made some mayonnaise which was delicious, and after that I made some gingerbread biscuits which were also yummy. And I also made some home made pasta!!!
I have not used the varoma yet, still not sure about what to do, but hopefully after my demo this week I will be ready to experiment with that.

How lucky are you?
I'm sure you know.
Congratulations! It's so much fun exploring cooking in a totally new dimension and healthier to boot.
I've only used my Varoma once so far. Very easy but haven't got back to it again. Baby steps!
Have fun and keep us posted.
