Oh boy - ordered mine this morning- want it immediately! Am really looking forward to trying the Indian Recipes from this month's promotional book. LOVE curries and really hoping the TM will live up to it's rep. Have read all the tips and tricks posted on here already - can't be too prepared
Well done to you all for the support and advice you all give to those owners with queries. It is a big investment and nice to know there is extra - no strings attached - help out there.

congratulations girls! You've just made the best investment ever! You'll soon understand why, I'm sure.
It's so exciting. The hardest thing I found was trying to decide what to cook for dinner! Spoilt for choice.
I wish you both well with your new toys. Holler on here if you ever get stuck. No doubt there will be someone on here that lives up the road. I'm sure there's a few on here from the south west of WA. Perth's not that far these days so if you're ever in perth, let us know. There's a few lovely forum members in Perth organising get togethers.
enjoy!

Yes Judy. We're with them as lots of the places we travel the only coverage is with the big T. I rang this morning and spoke to a lass in the Phillipines!. She was nice but difficult to understand. I was scared stiff as I didn't want to fiddle with the computer as DD would have shot me if I had broken it. Hopefully it wont happen again.

Telephone scam relating to computers.

Hi all, probably not the right place to post this (but I'm new so forgive me). was just reading about someone's trouble with the internet and it prompted me to send this warning.
In the past 24hrs I have received two phone calls - originating overseas judging by the accents and delays - telling me that the person is ringing from a software company and they are ringing as they believe I am running a computer with
Windows operating system
. Luckily I am a Mac girl and told them so promptly and hung up BECAUSE a couple of months ago I heard about this SCAM on the radio. They get you to give them your credit card details after they kindly fix your supposed problems (non-existent)and sign you up for a subscription should you need their services again. PLEASE all you nice people do not EVER give out your details over the phone to someone who phones you out of the blue. Apparently they say they have been notified that you have an internet connection fault by your carrier of phone company.
It is obvious that the vast majority of homes now have a computer and the vast majority of these run Windows so these unscrupulous people will have a good chance of sounding authentic - WHICH THEY ARE NOT.
Oh and by the way - one day closer to getting my TMX!!!

Thanks for the warning about the computer scam.I haven't heard of this one in the U.K. but one that recently went around was very similar.Instead of the computer software they said that you haven't paid your telephone bill and would immediately be cutoff. To prove their point they would tell you to put the phone down and try to dial out.Of course you can't because they have not hung up at the other end, nothing to do with an unpaid bill. They would then phone you back and ask for credit card details to reconnect you.Crafty buggars
On a lighter note, have you got all essential supplies so you can get cooking when your TM arrives

Welcome rebecca - i am sure you will have lots of fun making all those Indian recipes. We hope you find this forum helpful and inspiring and we also look forward to trying out any converted recipes once you get more acquainted with your machine
the forum is growing by the day, and so there is a huge mass of people who are willing to share what knowledge we have which means that everyone is able to enjoy our TM's so much more
