I made this tonight for dinner. I put some fresh carrot, zuchinni, green beans and brocolli in the varoma when cooking the noodles and served on the side for the kids and all together for DH and myself. We all really enjoyed it. Youngest DS did comment that the noodles were a bit spicy - was hesitant in adding the chilli but did it anyway, while eldest DS said the noodles had "no flavour" - go figure!

DH and I both really liked the whole meal (agree with Maddy though on the amount of noodles, not enough for us either) and the kids enjoyed the meat. I am not ordinarily a beef fan, so this is a great recipe for us to increase our red meat. (Although since getting Thermie I have been eating proper red meat which I mince myself rather than buying mince, so I figure I am getting more actual meat for my mince than before anyway). May even do it with rice next time as the kids will be happier with that.

Oh Judy, can I be a pain and ask for the recipe too please? I am trying to decide whether to buy the 'meat on the menu' cookbook or the Indian one, but as yet, haven't bought either.

Thanks very much  :)
