Hi
« on: October 22, 2010, 11:50:36 am »
Hi All,
I just recieved my TMX today.  :-)
I am a SAHM to 4 kids under 6. 3/4 are amine intolerant, and we avoid all artificial additives, colours, flavours, preservatives as recomended by the Failsafe diet.  3/4 kids are also A1 Cow milk protien intolerant.
Looking forward to trying my own cream and we already had ice-cream today :-) Both my boys were thrilled to get icecream, its something we haven't had in a while.

I see so much potential for our cooking :-)

Hey there and welcome,
The TM is certainly going to be a life changer in the kitchen for you.  How much easier is cooking going to be.
Can I ask a question? How did you find out about your childrens intollerance to A1 cows milk?  I'm just curious because I was born allergic to milk and sugar. However... dr's weaned me back onto it at a young age (2) (This is going back almost 40 years ago when allergies weren't very common).  Symptoms have returned as an adult but as yet haven't isolated exactly what it is in the milk that causes the reaction. Dr's aren't very helpful. I've hit a lot of brick walls trying to get to the bottom of it. I'm interested to find out if there was a particular test that can be done.
As I am the only one in the house with the intollerance, it makes cooking a nuisance at times.  Sometimes I'm more sensitive than others to milk, sugar and wheat.
Many thanks in advance.
 :)

Welcome Amgrantham81. Sounds like you have your hands full will 4 small children and their allergies. Is there 1 child who missed the allergies or do they all have something? Hope the TMX makes your life much easier. Happy cooking :-*

Hi amgrantham81, welcome to the forum.  Sounds like you have just the machine to help you with all your food intolerances.  I can understand how thrilled the boys would have been to have been served up my all time favourite - ice cream.  I couldn't live without it and how hard must it be to tell kids they can't have one.
