  So so so so happy right now!

It's almost a year to the day that I had a demo and I've FINALLY convinced and bugged DH enough to buy a TMX. YIPPEEE!!!!  I am going to Perth tomorrow and picking it up in the afternoon.  I am SO excited!  Happy dance happy dance! YAY!!!

I'll be able to cook up a storm at my brother's place.

No doubt I'll BB next week with LOADS of questions!

WDYT I should cook first?  Good ol' sorbet?   The kids would love it.

I'll be at my brother's house so I am not sure what I'll have access to.  Think I might take some staples down with me just so I can do some cooking there. LOL!

My poor hubby doesn't know what he's gotten himself into.  I'd been bugging him the last two days about it when he finally said, "If I get you one, will you shut up about it??!!"  I took that as a loud and clear YES so I rang my consultant first thing and had the paperwork filled out and gone straight away.  Haven't told DH yet... Hee hee...

I pick it up from head office tomorrow after lunch.  Shall be interesting because I have to drive 5 hours first with our two kids and do some other shopping as well.  Hopefully the toerags will be ok by the time we stop for it.

It will take you all of about 10 minutes to pick it up if they aren't busy, so the kids should be fine. Bribe them with promises of sorbet lol - even if it means you have to buy a 5kg bag of ice

Hi, we have had ours for 6 days now and keeping a list of the TWENTYTWO different uses it has ben put to so far! Almost all from my 12 and 14 yr olds (girls - sorry boy mothers
 Last night we tried mango sorbet - which turned out really well only you really don't need as much sugar as the recipe calls for - 150g as the mango is so naturally sweet. It was a huge success using only one med-large mango and feeding the family of four with seconds. Next time I will quietly cut down the sugar by at least 50g.
I have told the kids that I am no longer buying store biscuits or cakes so if they want to have something along those lines they have to put in the effort. They have with crepes - super easy. The coconut butter cake - very successful - don't know how easy as wasn't even home! Buttermilk scones - good way to use up leftover buttermilk and very yummy though did add more flour at shaping stage to make them manageable - 12 yr old managed that one all on her own etc etc etc

Ha ha, not only girls - my 3 teen boys are very adept as using the TMX and my nephew is begging his mother for one so he can cook 

Honestly believe with TMX there is no excuse for kids not to have a go in the kitchen as it is so safe - so whether it be boys or girls you have - let them at it

finally told Dh that I bought it. Hee hee. So norty! Definitely going to make the sorbet. Will think about the rest later. I'm getting the Indian cookbook so maybe that will inspire me. Oh I am SO going to make real custard though! I wonder what I'll be able to make before my work meeting tomorrow night. Hmmmm

Pick up is around one. Meetin six. I think that's plenty of time to whip up a feast.

How is the cookin' goin' vermins? I hope things are going well. It is normal to have some failures, often they can be turned into soup or icecream. Bron is a wizard at this.
