I have had my Thermomix 10 days and have used it at least once everyday- mostly 2 - 3 times . Today I mastered mayonaise on my 3rd attempt - can be a bit ticky - Yipee!!

Hi bubblegrub, welcome to the forum.  I've had my machine 2 years and have only made traditional mayo once - bit slack, must make more of an effort this coming summer.

Welcome BubbleGrub. Great work with the Mayo. I've had my TMX 2 years and I've never made it  ???. I have been guilty of buying mayo but funnily enough, ran out last week, went shopping and had it in my hand but put it back on the shelf after telling myself it was time i made it. We don't use a lot so have often wondered how long the TMX mayo will keep in the fridge.

Welcome to the forum BubbleGrub. What a great forum name.
You did well with the mayonnaise. It took me about 18 months to try it. I only make it when I know it will get used up now as we don't eat a lot of mayonnaise generally. eg Christmas.

I'm not sure how long home-made mayo lasts - my kids like it on their chicken sandwiches- however after my stress at getting it made my darling son left it out of the fridge overnight and I had to throw it out!

Isn't that so annoying BubbleGrub  :'( :'(  I left some chicken fillets out the other night, meant to just leave them out for a couple of hours but completely forgot about them and threw them in the bin the next day.
