Hi
I've been lurking for a little while so thought it was time to introduce myself. I got my thermomix last Wednesday and I'm having a lovely time trying lots of different things, only problem is there is too many recipes I want to try

Hi Melly, welcome to the forum. I know exactly what you mean about too many recipes - I have them everywhere! Love it though and better to have too many than too few to choose from. Where do you hail from Melly?

Welcome from me too.
I'm in the UK so the only person I know who has a Thermy and I've only had mine since Tuesday.
I'm getting the hang of it tho' and have plenty of work planned for it next week!

Welcome Melly. My list of recipes to try grows far faster than the number of meals in a week - at least there is variety in our diet, lol.

Hi Melly, i too have the same problem with way to many recipes to try
you should see the pile of printed recipes i have, i am currently trying to copy my tried and tested (via my panel of critics) to recipe cards for my new recipe box!! I will get there eventually!! Have fun testing all the recipes

Hi Melly,
Congratulations on your new acquisition.
Maybe try making a menu plan for the month ahead. You can then plan your shopping list and wont forget what the ingredients are for. It will also help reduce your grocery bills because you aren't buying things for the sake of it. I started doing this just before I got my TMX and it's been fantastic in more ways than one. Saves time because I'm not procrastinating over what to cook for dinner. Everyone in the family gets to choose a favourite dish and I fill in the gaps with new recipes.
Hope you enjoy experimenting and learning.

A menu plan is a fantastic idea, i have only been using one for the last two week and do ours fortnightly as that is when i shop and it has been a god send, alot less waste as i dont forget what i bought something for and easier come the afternoon crazy time with the little ones, I highly recommend!!
