Welcome to the forum Lady Ricey - lucky you.  Just in time for all that extra Christmas cooking too - oops, no you are trying to lose weight aren't you.  Better not look in our dessert/cake/biscuit sections then unless you have amazing willpower and can bake for others without being tempted yourself.  Good luck and have fun with your machine when it arrives.

hi lady ricey, i have had my tmx lfor 5 days now and already think how healthy everyhing is, for instance the creamy tomato salami fettucine, only uses 200ml of cream, and it was enough to serve 3 adults and 4 kids, usually if i cook a creamy dish i would have put in the whole tub of cream!
be prepared have some ingrediants ready so that you can make something as soon as it arrives. i think it would be good if we recieved our cookbook and instruction manual from our consultant when we order, so that we are familiar wiith it all before the tmx arrives.
good luck,
nicky  :)
the answer is chocolate, who cares what the question is!

Congratulations!  Welcome to the forum.  You will have so much fun with your TMX.

Just think of all those lovely salads you can make for summer. With lovely steamed fish or marinate some chicken, prawns or steak and put that in the Varoma with some vegies or rice. How healthy and fat free is that??? I'm hungry just thinking about it.

I'm so excited for you!
Enjoy   ;)

Hi and welcome. I'm afraid the TMX is noted for adding a couple of kilos, although I remember one person who was losing weight. I'm afraid I can't remember who it was. Bron also managed to lose weight. To be truthful you will be able to make lots of lovely healthy things.

So far my husband has made the veggie stock, and he's making Ginger beer today.  I've made milkshakes for the kids, pizza dough, fruity dream ( which was a disaster because I didn't pulverize the sugar first, d'oh!  It tasted good but was crunchy/gritty  :-)) and a cappuccino. This morning I made boiled eggs, easy!

One thing I've noticed is that the recipes don't seem to indicate how many serves they produce.  I'm sure I will figure it out with trial and error eventually.

I am enjoying cooking again!
