I posted very similar bread recipes to this one. The dough is almost the same with mini sandwich rolls.
There is one main addition. We use filling for Danubio bread.
This recipe has been the most popular bread recipe in Bimby section of cookaround forum for a long while so I wanted to give it a try.
I am very happy with the result as we loved the filling in the bread
Danubio BreadIngredients:250g milk
30g sugar
25g fresh yeast
550g flour (preferably one with high gluten content, manitoba, bread flour, baker's flour....etc)
50g olive oil
10g salt
1 egg
1 egg yolk (to brush on the top)
Optional: Sesame, flax, poppy seeds
Filling:You can fill it the way you wish. Cheese, salami, sausage, mozzarella, philadelphia, mascarpone, stracchino, bacon...etc. I heard stracchino kind cream cheese results great. I will try next time with that
This time I used 150g provolone cheese and some reindeer salami that I bought from Ikea
Preparation: * Put milk and sugar in TM Bowl. Warm for 1 minute at 37ºC on Speed 1
* Add yeast and mix for 4 seconds on Speed 4
* Sift in flour
* Add oil, egg and salt. Knewad for 3 minutes
* Place in a large bowl, cover with plastic film and let it rise for 1 - 1.5h
* Divide the dough into equal sized pieces (I made 19 pieces)
* Flatten out each one pressing a little by your hands. Place the filling in the center. Close the ends and roll into a ball shape.
* Place them in a tart pan forming a flower shape (mine has 28cm diameter)
* Cover with plastic film or a damp cloth- Let it rise for 30 minutes
* Brush with beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle with flax, sesame, poppy seeds
* Bake in oven preheated at 180ºC for 25-30 minutes
Afiyet olsun...
