Hi, there.
I really want to try this recipe, but I have a few questions;
1.  How many carrots?
2.  Did you really mean 500 g carrots instead of onions?  500 g of onions is quite a lot.  I see you listed 1 onion later on the list.
3.  The amount of oil is unclear.

Thanks for the recipe!

Hi Rowi

AGH has not been on line since Sept 1 - hopefully they have Notification on this thread.

Looks like you are right though - the 500g should probably be carrots and the oil, well I'd start with 1 tbsp or even substitute butter.

I have left links for a couple of Spanish carrot soups in the Welcome section.

I altered this recipe slightly by adding a tablespoon of home made vegie stock concentrate in the first step. After the soup was blended I added 150mls light cooking cream (only because I had it on hand and wanted to get rid of it) then blended that for a few more seconds.  It thinned the soup down a little so we drank it out of mugs which we like to do anyway.  I will certainly do this one again when winter comes around.

Hi, I tried this soup a couple of days ago.  It was very easy and quick.  Thanks for your recipie.  I added a dollop of sour cream and my children enjoyed it!

Looks nice but I agree-500g onions would make it more an onion soup instead of carrot soup! I haven't tried this recipe yet but I think it is singing out for cumin or curry powder as an addition( please note, my personal choice as you can tell).
