Cooking Classes
« on: December 03, 2010, 08:30:39 pm »
Hi Everyone.

I have just ordered my Thermomix (last night).  And I cant wait to realease its and my full potential through some cooking classes.  I am in Hobart and my consultant told me they have classes once a month plus retreats once a year.  So I am really looking forward to going to these.  Can some of you who have been tell me if you go regularly or is it something you only do when you first get your thermomix?  Are they repetitive?  Apparantly they are going to do advanced classses next year so hopefully after a few months I will be ready to go along to these too.

The other thing that is exciting is that my favourite cooking school on the planet (The Agrarian Kitchen)  www.theagrariankitchen.com.au is looking at purchasing a thermie!   ;D  So I am hoping they may ge enough interest to run a class or at least incorporate them into their existing classes.

You'll enjoy the cooking classes Flipper, I occasionally still attend a class even after nearly 18 months of owning my TMX even if its just to get motivated again if I havent used my TMX as much as I should. The recent festive class persuaded me to try my hand at butter so if you only learn one thing then its worth it!

Lucky for you they have retreats in your lovely part of the world, not so in Adelaide - enjoy.

Flipper keep your eye on www.Thermomix.com.au and make sure you sign up for their newsletter. Ask your consultant to keep you informed too. I hope we get some advanced classes over here, it would be great.

Hi Flipper.  How are you going with your Thermomix?  Did you end up going to many cooking classes?  In Tassie basic cooking classes are held monthly in all the regions.  People at all stages of their customer journey come along.  Some are seeing TM for the first time, some are new owners and some are raving fans, who just like to keep in touch.  We have had one advanced cooking class which was on the topic of soups and in the near future there is going to be an advanced steaming class.  PM me if you need more information on the special events in Hobart.  Id be happy to keep you informed.
