Looking forward to the weekend.
« on: December 08, 2010, 06:13:32 am »
Hi Everyone. I am brand new.....not only to Thermomix but to forums as well so please forgive me if I put things in the wrong places LOL.

I am so looking forward to the weekend as we picked up our new TMX last Sunday and because we live in the country but work in the city we are travelling 4 hours a day and we have had very little time to play with our new toy. I actually cooked risotto at 9.30pm Monday night with much back seat driving from my darling husband. For a Non Cook he is showing an extraordinary amount of interest in this machine.

Well Catherine when a DH shows interest in cooking that is a very good thing. Mine can only say "do you want me to turn that thing off ?"

Hope you get some time offover Christmas to enjoy your new toy.

welcome TMcat, I think that I would be purchasing a carry bag as well because once you get into it you won't want to be without it. Do you cook much at your city residence or eat out most of the time?

Hi TMCat, welcome to the forum.  Pity about the travelling time cutting into so much of your day - just think of all the cooking you could be doing in that time  :'(   Great to hear DH is showing an interest in the TMX, maybe he will eventually cook the evening meal whilst you just relax with a glass of wine or do the ironing, mop the floors etc etc

Welcome TMCat. Does all the travelling get you down?
