Hello from Germany
« on: December 15, 2010, 03:06:19 am »
Hello Everyone,

This is the first time I am participating in a forum.  I am living in Germany and have a husband who helps me in the kitchen but never ever cooked until we bought our thermomix.  Until recently I have been using it mainly for soups and desserts.  Since I am often multitasking and burning my food on the stove, I decided to try cooking curry in the thermomix, and very much to my delight, it tastes and looks exactly as it should.

Thank you very much in advance for everything I have read so far, I hope to also be able to contribute eventually.

Bye for now from JPS

Hi and welcome to this forum, JPS. As with your curry success, you will find the majority of dishes that are cooked using the thermie will look exactly as they are supposed to - looking forward to hear of your future successes.  Cheers - Robyn  :)  :)

Hi JPS and welcome to the forum.  I bought my TMX more for main meals than anything else and after taking a while to get to know my machine, I am now confident in cooking any meal I can convert (I love sauces around my meat) and the added bonus is that I also do desserts, cakes, bread etc in it as well.  Curries are particularly good and I find them even tastier the next day.

Belated welcome JPS - TMX has the effect on many husbands of getting them interested in cooking.
