Thanks Miss G... by the time I got a book written, though, it'd all probably be over long ago! lol! Can't see anything happening in a hurry - can't keep up as it is!  ;D

I've trid having a look at RC every now and then and it takes ages to load. Is it my connection or are others finding that they have the same problems?
Can't say that it does anything for me. I don't think it's because it's new because I've been to other sites which are new and they take off. Something's missing there.

Yes petit4s, I also have that problem and I'm pleased to learn someone else does too.  We have 2 computers in this house, one is 2.5 years old and the other only 6 months and it is the same on either.

Hi I find it takes ages to load too, and i have 2 new computers.
recipes are not as easy to find, so I am staying here forever.

If it's so slow without much traffic, i can't imagine what RC would be like if there were more action happening there.

Grrrr. I tried to put a photo on RC today and because my photo was not on the computer I couldn't do it. I usually use photobucket for here and couldn't use it there.
Grump over.

How come you couldn't use Photobucket JD? That's a bit odd... :-\

I've recently joined a very busy cooking forum bestrecipes. I've used a lot of the recipes from the site without realising that it was a forum. The recipes come up in google.

There's a little bit about Thermomix, but no dedicated section, just some discussions. I'm pretty sure cookie1 is the same cookie1 here!! Is that right cookie?
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

It's not me using Photobucket MJ, it's Cookie.

I joined bestrecipes in Oct 08 but once I found this forum, have forgotten to go back there  :-)) :-))  I used to browse all sorts of recipe sites when our forum was quiet in the early days - these days it is rarely ever quiet.

Yes that's me MJ. I like all the recipes on Bestrecipes but haven't been on the forum for ages and ages. I seem to spend all my time here or on Taste. I still look at BR if I'm looking for recipes though.

Not sure why I couldn't use Photobucket MJ. May need DD's help.

Hi everyone.  For those who haven't checked out the "official" recipe community for a while, things have evolved.  There are now quite a few recipes on there, as consultants and customers are all encouraged to use the site.  The search function is right there on the home page and if you click the RECIPES link, you can easily access your own recipes, your draft recipes, etc.  I like to browse through CATEGORIES where you can access sections like mains, desserts, sauces.  I also love the latest added and latest commented features on the home page.
