Have you looked at www.recipecommunity.com.au ?

I think the subject is what I wanted to ask. I have had a look and enjoyed it. I found it hard to find my way round and still do. But I'm sure that is only because I'm 'over 21' and this is the main forum I frequent and it is a little different. I know that as I use it more it will become easier.

Me too cookie. Something else that requires a bit of time to get the old head around. I uploaded my choux pastry recipe for cream puffs last night, and love how big the pictures are. Thats as far as I got basically.

I am on there too. I think it is harder to navigate than here and harder to use with the iPad as the posting always default to rich text and I have to change it each time I want to post something. There is a great thing on there though. You can favorite a recipe and it will store them in your favorites so no need to copy and paste or search for the recipe you like or have seen before. You can also print a recipe off or save as a PDF which is fantastic
. I will be using both, but as JD said old shoes are more comfortable

I do find it a bit hard to find the new posts. Certainly not as simple as on here....but then I do get attached to things!!

Yes, I've joined up - how could I not? Its about Thermomix!!
Navigation is a bit slower as you have to "drill down" a bit further to get to the thread. But "looks" lovely, and like here the pictures are mouthwatering
. If more TM recipes are shared and tweaked thats good for everyone. And also direct interaction with and feedback to "HO" can only be a good thing. But, as has been said, this forum will always be where I call home
PS We are not being unfaithful to MM are we?!!

Just joined up but found it a bit hard to navigate (but then I run forums on smf - like here) but hopefully will be lots of new recipes to try. But think I'll come here for chat.

The general consensus of opinion seems to be the same - this forum is easier to navigate but that could be because we know it like the back of our hand. Our print seems clearer, the whole thing more colourful and it will always be 'home' to me. Nice to see all our friends on the H.O. forum though and I will be popping in, time permitting, once a day if I am able. As long as this forum stays on air, I cannot see us deserting it but if we have too many 'crashes' at least we have somewhere else to visit. Loyalty is a big thing and for that reason, our regulars will always be here. xx to you all

Once you have registered for the recipe community you can enter the ‘Best of Community Competition’ where you have the opportunity to get one of your favourite recipes published in the next International cookbook and win a wonderful Thermomix prize hamper! There will be 10 winners from Australia/New Zealand so enter asap so that you can get as many votes as possible!!
All you need to do is add an original recipe and encourage people to get voting.
There are a couple of people from here who have already posted recipes. Support them by rating and voting for their recipes

"original recipe" - don't think that means one you've made up? I checked the Terms and Conditions and didn't see that. I submitted my choux pastry recipe for cream puffs, but I definitely didn't come up with the ingredients myself.

Here are the rules
look at Clause 7d. To be honest I am not sure what constitutes an original recipe

The recipe competition is interesting. If the recipe is to be original can be confusing. Most of mine are ones I look at and adapt to the Thermomix and usually leave out and add ingredients. Does that make it original? Hard to decide.

I wondered the same thing Cookie. It is very difficult to come up with a recipe without inspiration from somewhere. Most of my recipes are adapted for the TM from another recipe. Perhaps we should contact them and ask?
