Catisa I have one for rum balls without cake or biscuit in, would that be ok?

Catisa I have one using weetbix or biscuits - if you need it let me know.  Cheers - Robyn  :)

Instead of typing it out for you I've put the link to it on Best Recipes. Hope that's ok. It was given to me in Broome by a new bride called Ingrid about 33 years ago. We love them.

thanks Cookie

instead of coconut have you tried rolling them in chocolate sprinkles? I was thinking of replacing the rum with oj as it said and also the coconut for the kids. And of course some proper rum balls for us adults lol

with weetbix? sounds interesting, what are they like Robyn?

To make them more attractive I often  do half in coconut and half in chocolate sprinkles. They look really nice being brown and white.

Thanks JUdy. I thought I had converted it, but wasn't sure. :P My time on here is done in fits and spurts at the moment. Waiting for things to cook or rise.

;D  Hi i have made this a favorite of mine for over 30 years.

10 weetbix crushed
1 cup of coconut
1/2 cup of cocoa
1 cup of raisons
1/2 cup of rum
1 can of condensed milk
mix together
roll in more coconut.

you can do apricot balls as well, just leave out raisons and cocoa.

Merry christmas,
Robyn

My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
