NOOOO!!!!! my Knead is not working!

I am in shock!!!  I have had my TM for about 4 mths, and although i do use it a fair amount, i dont consider it used heavily. Well, i just discovered this morning that my  isnt working anymore. I am devastated.I would have only done about 30 loafs. Anyone else have this happen to them?

Sarah call your consultant. It will be under warranty. What isn't  working about the  function?

Thank the Gods.... I switched it off, walked away and left it for a bit and its now working. Will keep an eye on it :-)

Just making sure Sarah that you did have the lid in locked position the first time. A mistake we all make from time to time!! Fingers crossed for you it continues to keep working with out any problems.

Also if the bowl is too hot it won't knead as a safety feature too

faffa, hahaha,  ;Dyep, took my a while to get used to that lid but its always the first thing i check now

meagan.... perhaps it was that ....I didn't know it was a safety feature and i had been cooking in it... Thanks guys. I just couldn't believe the feeling of panic that came over me when i thought something was wrong... and as for my consultant, well i have not seen nor heard from her since the day she dropped it off

We all suffer from that same feeling of panic and dread when we have that little moment of horror    Thank goodness most times it is something simple

If you have a consultant who is great then well and good but if you don't or you did have one who has given it up and no-one has been in touch with you since, then that's where this forum steps in.  Can't beat this place, all questions generally resolved in a flash

Sarah I can rmemeber having that panic feeling when I was making gnocchi. then I saw in the handbook that the machine did not knead above a certain termperature. What a feeling of relief.
Re disappearing consultants, see if another one will adopt you. Kathryn adopted me and now I have a wonderful consultant.
