Greetings from Muswellbrook, NSW, Australia
« on: January 06, 2011, 02:54:50 am »
Hi all,

I've had my TM now for 3 weeks and am loving it.  Have had some great successes and a few failures (not cooking ones, but bland flavour only), but learning things each and every day and loving it.

Noticed a few other Novocastrian's on the forum, from Port Stephen's (I'm a Karuah gal originally) and also Lake Macquarie (I use to live on the lake in Speers Point) so hi there.

Thanks to all for the great forum, it wouldn't be the valuable resource that it is without your input and participation.  Looking forward to learning lots and sharing information & knowledge (as I gain it) - hey, we were all new to TM once.

Cheers,
KatieV

Hi Kate

I grew up in Scone so know your area well. Welcome to the forums, I hope you find them as inspiring as I have.

Hey Chrissy, I took my mum up to Scone yesterday for a visit as she's never been there.  A truely lovely area.

Thanks for the greetings Trudy.

Nice to see so many friendly people out there.

Cheers,

Hi and welcome. I have stayed at Muswellbrook when my DH was showing me Singleton where he did some of his natios service. I'm from Perth WA.

Hello Kate, welcome to the forum.   Bland is easily fixed with a few additions, we all tweak recipes around here to suit our tastes.
Enjoy your time here, as we all do.

Hi Cookie1, we are initially living in Muswellbrook to get settled in the new area, but possibly looking to buy a house in Singleton.   It's just that smidge closer to Newcastle for my mum, to travel to see us.  Shall wait and see what pans out.

Hi Judydawn, thanks for the greeting and with over 6500 posts I can see that you really enjoy and participate in the forum.  I must admit it's only been my second day and already I'm getting addicted....

Hi Cornish Cream - many thanks for the warm greeting.
