Another Newbie!
« on: January 08, 2011, 03:24:13 am »
Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself.

I am currently doing lots of Thermomix research and would like to order one immediately, although I understand that I'm required to have a demonstration first as Thermomix won't sell them without this step.  As I live in rural Central Victoria, it might be a while before this can happen, as there may not be any consultants nearby.  I submitted a request for a demonstration a few days ago, but haven't had a response yet.
In the meantime, I will continue to read through forums, watch video demonstrations and look forward to the day that a Thermomix will be sitting on my bench, saving me precious hours every week!!

Hi TC, welcome to the forum.  Must be dreadful to want something and not be able to get it immediately. If you have contacted H.O. in Perth I'm sure someone will get back to you next week and in the meantime if there are any consultants in your area, maybe they will read this and contact you through this forum.  Where exactly are you in Central Victoria?

Hi Thermocurious and welcome.  Whereabouts in Victoria are you?  There may be other TMX owners nearby that you can make contact with and chat to whilst you are waiting for your machine.

Hi Thermocurious. Welcome to the forum. I am a consultant in North Central Vic. Where abouts are you? I'm sure you will find this forum very helpful. Depending on where you are I may be able to help.

Welcome to the forum. Maybe by now you have worked something out but be assured buying a TMX is NOT dependant on having a demo. It is just recommended so you can see it in action and make your mind up. Also the incentive is to obtain the Thermomserver if you hold a demo and buy. The option is always open to have a TMX posted directly to your house and if you don't have a consultant close by that is what they will do. All the best - would love to hear when you get it.  ;)

Hi the thermoserver is a container (steel I think) that keeps your food warm for a couple of hours.

Hi all,

Thanks for the kind welcome and all the good advice.

Thanks to a very helpful forum member (to whom I am most grateful), my problem is solved and a Thermomix is on its way to my kitchen!!!!!!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!  ;D

Looks like I'll be around for a while!  Now for the agonising wait.  Will do some more reading to pass the time.

Thanks again.

I adore Echuca. I've had some of the best times ever there.
