Hi from Jess - another Newbie
« on: January 11, 2011, 10:31:13 am »
Hi All
I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.  My name is Jess and I'm from Tassie.

I'm a newlywed and 38 weeks pregnant with our first baby (a boy) - looking forward to making lots of baby food in the Thermomix.

I've always been big on homemade food and avoiding preservatives, processed food, etc (most of the time), and am so grateful for how much easier the TMX makes this task!  I haven't bought a loaf of bread or tub of yoghurt since we got the Thermie at the beginning of December.

Anyway, I've been lurking around this forum for a couple of weeks so thought I should join up so I can participate and also thank the users for the wonderful recipes I've been trying.  And maybe even post a few of my own!!

Jess :)

Hi jezzamiff, welcome to the forum. Another Tasmanian, there must be so many TMX's down there ;)  You will find the machine great for mixing baby's food when he goes onto solids and of course avoiding preservatives .  Wishing you well with the birth and hoping to see you back posting some of your recipes when you get time.

Hi Jess, congrats on all three!  I wish I'd had Thermy for all the homemade baby food, painstakingly ground up in a little plastic 'moulie'... would've been great!  :)

Welcome Jess. I'm sure the Thermomix will make things easier with the new baby. Not long to go.
