French Oat Cakes - A Taste of Vegetarian
« on: January 20, 2011, 09:59:10 am »
Recipe Name:  French Oat Cakes
Book Name:  A Taste of Vegetarian
Tweaking details:  None
Review:  Absolutely loved them.  So easy to make, and the recipe works just as written.  I have paid (I'm embarrassed to say) up to $10 for a pack of Rick Stein Oat Cakes because I love them so much - I think mine would have been flat out costing me 50 cents.  And they were just as good if not better!
Score:  5/5

Made these a few days ago. Just love them, but, find them very sweet. I will cut back the sugar just a little next time. They were very easy, just had to leave them alone in the oven to become completely cold and crisp.

I wonder how many great recipes are in these TM books that I haven't made? I hadn't looked at the Vegetarian TM book for a long time.

The recipe is on RC and is exactly the same as the one in the Vegetarian book Bonsai.
