Silly question! Sorry!

Hi all,
Silly question. How do I contact HQ? Do I just call the freecall number listed on the website?
(Cookbook and invoice not here still. Hate having to resort to this).

Yes just call the number in the book. Or your consultant should be your first point of contact. Otherwise you can always ask a question on here

Thanks Meagan for replying. I'll try to call my consultant again and if there's no response then I'll be calling HQ soon.
(cookbook: remember I am still missing my indian cookbook? consultant MIA.)

Finally managed to contact my consultant (after 3 weeks of her not picking up her phone and not calling me back when she says she will). She's lost my Indian cookbook! And will have to re-order it from HQ and send it to me.Sigh. This means I prob won't see the cookbook for another month or so. On the plus side, she's mailed my invoice.
I empathise with whatever's that going on but I really do want to experiment with recipes in the Indian cookbook as well.
I've been on leave from work 2 times already and that was when I was planning to try new things... no leave left for the next few months and I work full time so it's hard to try new things esp when coming home at 7pm and all I have time for is a quick meal.
Sorry to keep updating this thread and putting it on top but I just wanted to share my frustrations.

Hi Nay-nay,
The EDC came packed with the thermomix itself so at least I have that! And I am so thankful for the forum and the kind people who share recipes here.

You have every reason to be frustrated Cldy - very poor service from your consultant and I think you have been very patient with her. Maybe you should have gone over her head directly to H.O. and voiced your problems because they may have been able to sort this out sooner for you.

I still would. I'm feeling particularly mean and nasty today.

Thanks for listening/reading.
Cookie1, I have been tempted to call HQ many times. Most times esp when I am in the mood for indian or when I am menu planning for special occasions and I am missing the indian cookbook. However I always hesitate because in the event that I am myself in strife, I'll appreciate if people are more understanding and sympathetic and that always holds me back from contacting HQ.
Then I get frustrated when my consultant is uncontactable. Either way, I just feel bad/guilty.
I guess, the qn is where do I draw the line?

True. Sometimes people take advantage of kind people. Having said I would complain I have only ever complained twice in my life; but then they were both in the last 6 months with my ongoing war with the local Woolies.

Just a thought.... Don't think of contacting HQ as a "complaint" and making it a negative thing, try and think of it as a positive move on your half (I understand your frustration).
You never know, by contacting them, they may be able to provide some leadership and guidance to the consultant to help her. There may be some underlying reasons that could be causing the problem, she may not even realise that she's giving poor customer service. I'm not siding with the consultant in any way, as I STRONGLY believe in customer service values. I was taught a long time ago - "The Customer is Always Right". You could strangle them every now and then, but they are the customer and should be listened to.
A little handholding and guidance could just be all that is needed to get your consultant back on track and you will both benefit from the experience.
Keep smiling and good luck.

Just an update:
After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing (where I was told the Indian cookbook has sold out and she ordered MOTM as replacement without asking, and then me changing it to the Asian Cookbook instead and promising that she's paid for the postage etc), I still haven't got my cookbook!
Today I called HQ and they'll forward my query to the group leader.
I feel bad for doing this and I don't want to get anyone into trouble. But I do want my (free) cookbook! Which was due in November last year!
I hope this'll be resolved soon. To be honest, I know the TM is a great cooking machine. It is plain frustrating. I don't even dare to order another cookbook at the moment.
As a side note: HQ told me today that they have received new stock of the Indian cookbook. So anyone who wants one should order it asap.
