Meal plan ideas?
« on: January 27, 2011, 08:43:03 am »
I saw You had a thread with this before. I'm interested in doing meal plans again..so was wondering if any one else wants too and then post here? I'm interested in everyone's idea's ..even those of you on diets. :)
I am going to do mine on a Friday for 2 weeks.
Find this much easier when children are at school and the shop isn't too close here!

Just in the middle of writing the next weeks.

Fri - honey soy chicken wingettes with rice and steamed veg.
Sat - Mongolian Beef
Sunday - (not sure need to see what the family plans are but most probably) BBQ - chicken kebabs? and steak?
Monday - Maple Chicken (recipe from the intellisteam website, just posted an approx conversion in the chat thread on it)
Tuesday - Persian lime beef (if I can remember where this recipe was?? it's been on my maybe list for weeks, lol, and just bought limes today)
Wednesday - shepherd's pie.
Thursday - prawns and cous cous
Friday - pizza or curry (bit far ahead so not sure what I'll feel like then).

Tonight - was Beef Stroganoff with mash potatos (done in the basket) and steamed broccoli and carrots

Fri - baf's Creamy Chicken

Sat - hubby is out so it's just me and the kids so we'll just make some homemade pizzas and probably watch a movie

Sun - not sure yet as we will be out most of the day and not sure when we're getting home.

Mon - dinner at the in-laws

Tues - Spaghetti Bolognaise (Ragu from EDC)

Wed - Fast Chicken Curry (from EDC) which extra veggies thrown in, and basmati rice

Thurs - EDC coleslaw and Beef Roma pies (basically left over meat from spag bog put into the pie maker)

and that's as far as I've gotten. Somewhere in there we'll have Quick Blueberry Ice cream and probably a Fruity Dream.
Mum to 5 gorgeous kids, 3 bio aged 22,20 and 15, and 2 adopted aged 7 and 2.

Hi guys
I just planned my week too :)

F - Steak and salad wraps (if I have enough time will make onion jam in TM)

S-  TM Brown rice salad without tuna with soy and sesame baked tofu on top

S-  TM Spaghetti bolognaise (usually use turkey mince and add veges)

M-  Vege Pizzas (I am going to try a recipe of mine in the TM - yoghurt pizza dough)

T - TM Easy Chicken Curry with steamed basmati

W - leftover curry - maybe wrapped in filo?

T - Lamb Shanks somehow - will search for recipes later in the week and shop for ingredients when I top up my fruit and veg
