yellow lid and spatua from tumeric - solution?
« on: January 31, 2011, 03:01:56 am »
Hi, I have a customer who has a yellow lid and spatula from cooking curry in her TM. Is there anyway to get rid of the colour?
Thanks!

Has she tried soaking in some vinegar? Bicarb?

I often find that plastics (including laminate kitchen benches!) get stained by turmeric. I suppose vinegar or bicarb might help, but just normal repeat washes over a few days seems to do the trick as well
