Hi Jo, so glad to hear from you. Had very little sleep myself last night worrying about everyone up there.

Jo thank you so much for letting us all know you and the family are ok. I don't even know you face to face and I have been concerned for you and the TMX family. Thanks again for letting us know you are ok.
Hope obbie and sue are ok too.
THANK YOU  :-* :-* :-*

It's a relief to hear from some of our TMX family. So glad things are not too bad for you. I too had a restless night thinking about you all. Hopefully we will here from the rest of our family soon. Gretchen ???

Thank goodness you are all ok.   ;D ;D

I had little sleep was on the phone to my second Mum in Cairns for a lot of last night before it got to the stage that they needed to bunker down.

The sound of the wind was awful over the phone - I can't imagine what it would have been like at the height of it all  :-)) :-))

I kept looking at the maps etc and thinking of everyone hoping you all came through as unscathed as possible. Much love to you all  :-* :-*

Has anyone heard from Gretchen?  Sure hope she fared ok up there.  :(

Dad did ring me... eventually. Apparently was still unpacking from moving house.  :-))  He said he was going to my Aunt's place a little later to be with his father and sister and her husband.

No reported damage or injury from any family members thankfully.  My sister did complain that she missed the cricket due to the power going out though.  *sigh*

Just hoping there are not any reported injuries or worse at all in this disaster.

Hoping to get some sleep tonight... I think I managed around an hour in broken bits last night!  :-\

That is good to hear Ceejay. Yes - I hope I will sleep better tonight too. I had close family living in Homehill, Townsville, Halifax and Cairns - they are all rattled but made it through the night.  :-\
Oh Gretchen - hope your lovely home made it through ok.  :-* :-*

So great to hear all is fine Jo and Obbie - while our family in Tsville and Ayr suffered no structural damage, they have been without power since 8pm last night. Cheers all!  :)  :)
