another newbie
« on: February 16, 2011, 02:38:34 am »
I first saw a Thermomix about a month ago when a friend of mine got one, I was sold straight away :0) I have been reading all the recipes, quirkycooking and a few other thermo blogs.
I had my own demo 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for the consultant to come and get my paperwork to order one, she keeps postponing :0I I have offered to drop the paperwork off to her but she wants to come here. Very Frustrating! Will I still qualify for the 2 thermoservers if she doesn't lodge the order form before the end of the month?

Hi eightmurphys. I can't help with your query not being a consultant but I find what she is doing to you very rude. You would think that she would want to sell the machine to you. Perhaps give her a call and ask again or say you will give head office a call to order your machine-that may hurry her up. I don't think you can actually order a machine that way but it may shake her up a bit. Whereabouts are you?

Welcome eightmurphys,
Think paperwork has to be processed by early March. Try contacting consultant again and reminding that you really want the 2 thermoservers as part of the deal. Don't understand why the paperwork wasn't completed on the day of your demo - that what I like to do. Email to HO before end of day if possible. When you see one - you really, really, really want it NOW (or I did anyway).

Hi eightmurphys, welcome to the forum.  That's shocking treatment you are receiving from your consultant, I'd do what Cookie suggested.  Ring H.O. even if it is to tell them what is happening and ask if there is another consultant in the area who will service you better  >:( >:(  Doesn't sound as if that consultant wants the sale which is rather odd, being that is the reason they do these demos. There may be a good reason for the delay but an explanation should have been given to you or the sale passed onto someone else.  Hope you get some satisfaction soon and can get on with the enjoyment of your machine.

How frustrating for you!! As other have said, once you make up your mind you just want it now, and you would just about be ready for your delivery if your paperwork had been done at your demo  ??? ??? ???

In answer to your question ... Yes your paperwork HAS to be LODGED at HO by midnight WST the 28th of Feb to qualify for your 2 Thermoservers. It can and will be processed by HO early March, BUT it has to be ORDERED in Feb, otherwise you will qualify for March incentives - which may only be the standard 1 Thermoserver, we don't know until the last day of the month before -  Get onto her!

Good for you eightmurphys (I take it there are 8 of you guys ;)) - the bottom line is, you want your machine and someone else is going to deliver the goods.  Simple.

With a large family 2 Thermoservers will be invauable!! There are 7 of us (3 teen boys  :-))) and the Thermoservers are what makes it even easier to feed us all. Even if I have to double batch I just leave everything on the bench ready to go and put it away after the second lot is cooking. It is still far easier and quicker (let alone healthier) than cooking any other way - you will be so glad you went ahead and got your order in  ;)
